Google is working on a new feature that will let people link Android devices together. It’s similar to Apple’s Continuity program, which allows people to link their iPhones, Macs and iPads together.
According to Android journalists Nell Sadikov and Mishal Rahman, Google is considering allowing people to connect Android devices with a single Google account.
You may soon be able to "link your [Android] devices" signed into the same Google account together. This will enable "call switching", which lets you switch between devices for calls, as well as "Internet sharing"!

With this new feature, Android users will be able to do things like transfer phone calls from one device to another and share a personal hotspot between devices.
There are no more details about when this feature will be released or what other features will be available.
However, we can speculate the following about the potential capabilities of this new feature:
- You can make a call on your phone and then switch to your tablet to end the call.
- You may be using your laptop and need to share your internet connection with your phone. With this new feature, you can do it easily.
- You might be using your phone and then starting a presentation on your TV. This new feature can make it easier to do so.
We have to wait and see what other features Google adds to this new feature. But for Android users, it is definitely a step in the right direction.
