The government has reduced the price of price of petrol in Nepal from today which was increased few days ago.
Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Dilendra Prasad Badu said that the price of petroleum products has been reduced.
Under the new price, petrol has been reduced by Rs 20 and reached new price to Rs 179. Similarly, the price of diesel and kerosene has been reduced by Rs 29 to Rs 163. The government has reduced the price by cutting taxes. The new price will be effective from Today Night (Saturday).
Earlier, petrol was priced at Rs 199 and diesel at Rs 192. Nepal Oil Corporation had last increased diesel and kerosene by Rs 27 and petrol by Rs 21 per liter.
