Nepal government has released a list of holidays for the year 2080.
The list includes public holidays, festival holidays, special holidays for women, educational institution holidays, Jatra holidays, day holidays, birthday holidays, and nationally observed but open office days.
The notice mentions that there are 52 Saturdays this year, and six other holidays including ‘People’s War Day’.
There is a five-day birthday holiday, which includes Buddha Jayanti and Prithvi Jayanti on this year.
The office hours are from 10 am to 5 pm during Baishakh 1 to Kattik 15th and Magh 16 to Chaitra Masant .
From Kattik 16 to Magh 15th, the office hours are from 10 am to 4 pm.
On Fridays, the office will be open from 10 am to 3 pm.
