TikTok is making it easy for people who create videos on the app to earn money. Right now, video creators don’t make much money from the views they get on TikTok. They only earn about 2 to 4 cents for every 1,000 views of a video. Because of this, most creators have to find other ways to make money, such as promoting products, making podcasts, or selling templates. But now, TikTok has introduced a new feature called Series.
Series allows some creators to post a collection of exclusive videos that people pay money to watch. These collections can contain up to 80 videos, and each video can be up to 20 minutes long. Fans and viewers can pay a fee to watch these exclusive videos.
Creators can also choose how much to charge for a video, with creators able to price a series from 99 cents to $189.99. For a while, creators will get to keep all the money they make from videos after TikTok charges a fee. Collections can be purchased by clicking on the links in the videos or in the link on the creator’s profile.
For some time, TikTok allows only certain creators to use the series in certain places and also has some rules. To apply for the series, creators must be at least 18 years old and have at least 10,000 followers within 30 days of account opening. Also must have posted three or more public posts in the last 30 days. Videos must have been uploaded at least 1,000 times in the last 30 years. Apart from these other creators can still apply if someone has more than 1000 followers. But for that, creators need to see evidence that they have sold content on any other platform.
The TikTok series is still new and they say they are working to make it better. TikTok wants to hear feedback from creators and the community.
