Xiaomi had launched Xiaomi 12 Lite, a premium mid-range smartphone in the Nepali market. The company has made ultra slim 5G smartphone available to Nepali consumers since Wednesday.

Xiaomi 12 Lite has 6.55” FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh-rate. It has 240Hz screen’s touch sampling rate.The Xiaomi 12 Lite supports HDR 10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 1080×2400 pixels resolution, 64 billion colors, 950 nits brightness (peak), 402 PPI density, Dolby Vision etc.
At the front,the display also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection .
Camera
Talking about the camera, the phone is featuring a triple camera setup on the back. The smartphone has a 108MP Samsung HM2 main lens as a primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, and an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera with a 119˚ field of view, 2MP macro sensor.
For the selfies, there is a 32MP selfie camera on the front.From the Rear camera, Xiaomi 12 Lite can record 4K videos upto 30 fps and 1080P upto 60 fps and can record 1080P 30fps from the front camera.
Performance
Xiaomi 12 Lite comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset. The processor is based on a 6nm process and brings two Cortex-A78 performance cores (@2.4GHz) and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores (@1.8GHz.
The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G chipset was announced last year. It is still popular in the premium mid range segment.
The base-variant of the Xiaomi 12 Lite has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, whereas the high-end model has 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
Battery and other features
Xiaomi 12 Lite has 4,300mAh battery which supports Xiaomi’s 67W turbo charging. The company claims that it will take just 41 minute to charge 0 to 100%. However, Xiaomi 12 Lite supports the in-house AdaptiveCharge technology which slows down the charging after 80% to protect the battery.
Xiaomi 12 Lite runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13. For voice and video calls, the smartphone supports 5G and 4G VoLTE network connections. The phone has stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. Other connectivity features are Bluetooth v5.1, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Mobile Hotspot and USB Type-C.
